HDIS History
Hockey Saskatchewan and its partners recognize that the rink is at the heart of every small community, serving as a place of gathering throughout the year.
Through the Hockey Day in Saskatchewan initiative, we hope to give communities a chance to celebrate their rinks - and to preserve them - so future generations can enjoy the same experiences growing up as we were fortunate enough to experience.
Hockey Day in Saskatchewan provides associations a fundraising platform to keep rinks alive and well in all communities, both big and small, and we encourage each minor hockey association to hold an event in their own community for Hockey Day in Saskatchewan. Check out these success stories from past hosts and participants!
